Description:

Owned and operated by Brian Breye, the tiny Museum in Black features some 5,000 artifacts culled over several trips to the South's former plantations. The museum fills a back room in a small shop in Lelmert Park, near the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza. The collection features photographs and posters that explore the perception of African-American culture in the history of America.

Open Tue. - Sat. 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., or call for an appointment.
